Medeama SC faced their debut CAF Champions League match with a 3-0 loss to Al Ahly in Cairo.

Despite a commendable first-half effort, holding the score level, the Ghanaian champions couldn’t sustain the momentum.

The formidable African team, Al Ahly, turned the game around, scoring three goals within 25 minutes toward the end, securing a victory and all three points.

Looking forward, Medeama aims to secure their inaugural win in the tournament as they gear up to host CR Belouizdad at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium next week for their second group stage match.
