Mohammed Salisu, the Black Stars defender, marked his Monaco debut in a triumphant 1-2 away victory against Rennes today. Salisu, part of the starting lineup, showcased a commendable performance throughout the entire match, leading in tackles made.

Joining Monaco during the Summer transfer window, Salisu encountered a delay in making his debut due to a groin injury that kept him sidelined for several months.
“I’m happy to make my debut for Monaco honestly. It’s being a longtime I didn’t play and today, I got the chance to play 90 minutes. I’m very proud of myself and I’m very happy from the journey, it’s being a difficult journey but at the end I made my debut today so I’m very happy”
“For me, it’s an amazing feeling, everyone was happy for me, I’m very grateful for everyone here” he said.
