This year’s edition of the Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon, has been postponed.
The event initially planned for tomorrow has now been rescheduled for Saturday, September 21.
According to a statement from the organisers, the latest development comes after some technical difficulties.

The statement also said, participants’ registrations are still valid for the September event, and interested parties can still register for the race.
This year’s event, it stated, will be a significant upgrade over the previous ones and that new policies and strategies would be announced soon.
“All registered participants have been sent notices in this regard. Count on us for a super show,” part of the statement read.
It concluded by urging all participants to keep training and preparing for the September 21, showdown.

Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon is an annual race that takes place in conjunction with the Homowo festival for the Ga people.
