The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards 2024 formally launched their first edition at a press launch held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Silver Bird Cinemas inside Accra Mall.
This maiden awards ceremony introduce a new platform for acknowledging the constructive social contributions made by corporations and celebrities throughout the nation.

This creative awards programme recognises people and institutions who use their platforms to promote community development and solve societal issues.
The maiden awards with its theme “celebrating those who give back,” seek to highlight those who have made noteworthy contributions to social progress and philanthropic causes.
By encouraging others to take part in worthwhile social impact projects, the movement seeks to increase the overall impact of individual donations.
The event schedule and the opening of the nomination period runs from September 5, 2024, to October 5, 2024.
Here are some key dates:
- Official Launch and Grand Ball Ceremony: March 29, 2025 – The launch will celebrate companies making a positive impact and introduce the celebrity nominees.
- Ghana Celebrity Impact Summit – Women’s Speaker Conference: April 26, 2025 – This conference, themed “Breaking Boundaries, Shaping Futures,” will focus on women’s empowerment and gender equality.
- Main Awards Ceremony: May 24, 2025 – A star-studded event celebrating the social contributions of celebrities, featuring live performances and special guest appearances.
Participants must go to the official website, complete the nomination form, and send in supporting materials like project reports or testimonies in order to suggest a worthy person or organisation for nominations into any of the following categories:
