The process, according to him, is being hindered by the influence of some Majority MPs. These MPs, he alleges, are encouraging the promotion of LGBT activities nationwide. Samuel Nartey George, the MP for Ningo-Prampram, made this claim while addressing the media in Parliament. He asserted that any attempts by the Majority caucus to dilute the legislation will be resisted by the bill’s supporters.
Sam George urged those who have been swayed by proponents of LGBTQ rights to reject such influences. He warned that they would continue to fight for the bill’s passage. He stated that he hasn’t been instructed to proceed with the bill’s consideration.
