The convicts conspired to forge an official Judicial Service receipt instead of paying the court the given money. They obtained the forged receipts from one Boakye Boateng. The convicts later submitted a Judicial Service official receipt with the number 19/0263336, dated June 11, 2021, and a face value of GHC3,500. When the receipt was presented to the court, it was rejected, leading to the arrest of the convicts.
