In a shocking turn of events, a former educator was condemned to seven years of rigorous imprisonment for defiling and impregnating a 15-year-old student. Despite his pleas of innocence, Kingsley Acquah, 24, was convicted by the Tarkwa circuit court. The case was presented by Superintendent Juliana Essel-Dadzie, who informed the court that Acquah was a teacher at the victim’s private school in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality. He exploited his position when the victim, preparing for her Basic Education Certificate Examination, was made to stay at the school, leading to the illicit act in his room.
