The wife of vice President and the flag bearer of the NPP Samira Bawumia led the way by donating an impressive GHC 100,000 to help with the funeral of former First Lady Theresa Kufour.
It was later revealed during the funeral that the amount was for herself, the president Nana Addo Kufour, the first lady Rebecca Akuffo Addo.
The figures were read out during the funeral ceremony of the lady first lady.

The NPP as a party also donated GHC 20,000 in a show of support to former president Kufour and leader of their party that won them power in 2000.
The former first lady passed away on Sunday October 1st 2023.
