The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has announced that the newly constructed TnA Stadium in Tarkwa will host the upcoming Top Four competition. The tournament is set to kick off following the stadium’s official opening match between Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko.

However, due to commitments in African competitions, FC Samartex 1996 and FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC will not participate in the tournament as originally planned. Replacing them will be Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea, and Nations FC, who will join Medeama SC in the competition.

GHALCA Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo, in an interview with Peace FM, expressed gratitude to Gold Fields, the company behind the TnA Stadium, for their significant contribution to Ghanaian football. He highlighted the importance of the stadium, not just for Tarkwa, but for the entire nation. Fianoo also called on other companies to invest in football infrastructure, citing the nation’s current deficit in this area. “This stadium isn’t just for Tarkwa, it’s for the entire nation,” Fianoo remarked, emphasizing the broader impact of such investments.
