Black Stars head coach otto-addo has declared that his team is fully prepared for today’s crucial encounter against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. As Ghana gears up for the pivotal Round 4 clash, Addo exuded confidence in the squad’s readiness to claim all three points after a series of near misses in their previous qualifiers.

Speaking ahead of the match, Addo stressed that the team’s preparation has been thorough and that they have moved past the disappointments of their earlier games. “I’m very satisfied with the training. The boys have adapted well, and they’re eager to show their quality on the pitch today. They’ve put the past behind them, and they know what’s at stake,” he remarked.

Acknowledging the need to convert chances into goals, Addo reflected on their recent matches. “We created a lot of opportunities against Angola and deserved to win. Against Niger, we didn’t play our best, but we still should have gotten the result. It’s been unlucky for us, but as the saying goes, ‘third time’s the charm.’”

The coach concluded with a firm belief that the Black Stars can deliver the performance needed to secure victory. “We’ve had two strong games recently, and today, if we play the way we know we can, we will win.”

With the game set to kick off at 13:00 GMT, all eyes are on Ghana to see if they can turn their fortunes around and take a vital step toward AFCON qualification.
