The Dzasetse and Acting Chief of Weija in Accra, Nii Boafo Danyina-Nse Il, has revealed that there are plans to rename the Weija community to its original name soon.
The Weija community was formerly known as “Wei Tsei Amli,” meaning farm palm tree.
Nii Boafo Danyina-Nse Il hinted of the name change last Saturday during the Homowo festival celebration organised together with members of the stool house.
