The 2024 Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024. The race will start at the Accra Sports Stadium and finish at the Trust Sports Emporium (Bukom Boxing Arena) in Jamestown

Now in its third edition, the marathon offers three race categories: 21km half marathon, 10km, and 5km. Sponsored by Serene Insurance, Indomie, and others, the event provides a platform for fitness, fun, and networking.
According to William Ezah, CEO of Medievents, participants from various sports like boxing, basketball, and volleyball are welcome. The race is not only about fitness but also about socializing and stress relief.
The marathon has been incorporated into the Homowo festival by the Ga Traditional Council. Interested participants can register by dialing *380*21# to secure their spot.
