The much-awaited visit of the California Secretary of State, Dr Shirley Weber, to the motherland (Ghana) happened today with a beautiful welcoming ceremony organised by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ga North Municipal Assembly.
Dr Shirley Weber who is the first Black Woman to work as the Secretary of State for California, arrived in Ghana on Friday 17th November with over 35 other American Nationals who will be looking forward to fostering long and productive relationships between California and the Ga North Municipality, Hon. Simons Sekyim.

Hon. Simons Sekyim in an interview with First2watch TV revealed that Dr Shirley Weber and her entourage will support the people of the Ga North Municipality to build an unending relationship with California.
The people of the Ga North Municipality have been pleased with the works of Hon. Simons Sekyim ever since he took power as the MCE of the area. They believe he is the best person for the job.
