Three teacher unions, GNAT, NAGRAT, and CCT, began a nationwide strike on March 20, 2024. They are protesting delayed salaries, unconsulted schedule changes, and postponed laptop distribution.
GNAT president Isaac Owusu called for all teachers to join the strike, highlighting concerns about laptop distribution, frequent schedule changes, and salary blockages by the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
