This year’s Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest, presented by Smirnoff, was held at the Kona Lounge in Accra on September 7, 2024.
The DJ tour train stopped at the Kona Lounge in the Greater Accra Region after travelling through the Volta, Bono, and Northern regions.
A major event connected to the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest offers a stage for different national disc jockeys to display their talents outside of the awards ceremony.
There were a lot of music lovers there, enjoying a wide range of exciting musical genres spun by the outstanding DJs, which included DJ Toddor, DJ Lippsy, DJ Miki, DJ Afro, DJ Cartoon, DJ Lord OTB, DJ Ikon, and DJ Cartoon—the current Guinness Ghana DJ of the year champion.
The celebrants danced the night away, following the rhythms and vibe of the occasion while sipping bottles of Guinness and Smirnoff.
The subject of this year’s Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, “United by Music,” was explained in vivid detail at the pub fest. demonstrating the potential for complete strangers to connect and have fun while listening to their favourite tunes mixed by DJs on turntables.
