A 15-year-old has been allegedly beaten to death by his mother for stealing GHS80 in Kaso, just outside Accra.
The mother, owner of a popular Bakery in Kasoa American Town, suspected the boy of stealing her GHS80 over the weekend.
The mother then threatened to report him to the police if he doesn’t confess and beat him, but the boy sadly died in a taxi on their way to the Police Station.
Relatives of the deceased boy declined to speak to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday during what appeared to be a mourning ceremony at their home.
They claimed to have filed a police report but checks from the GNA revealed no report was made at the police station.

The deceased boy’s body has been deposited at the Mother and Child Hospital at CP, a suburb of Kasoa.
The mother’s bakery has since been locked.
