A statement earlier released by the organisers said participants who had already registered before the reschedule are still valid for the September event, and interested parties can still register for the race.
The organisers, Medivents Consult, have therefore issued a new statement urging all new participants and fans of the race to dial *380*21# to register or visit www.accraintercitymarathon.com to register.
The statement added that the organisers would hold a press conference on September 10, 2024, to announce details of the September 21, showdown.
The statement said this would include prizes, preparation, safety and security measures.
The 21-kilometers marathon will start at the Accra Sports Stadium and end at Trust Sports Emporium (Bukom Boxing Arena).
There will be five and 10-kilometers marathons on the day as well.
