The Ghana Police Service is investigating the vandalism of the Big Six monument at the Airport Roundabout in Accra. The monument, which honors the six leaders who fought for Ghana’s independence from British colonial rule, has suffered significant damage.

A suspect, identified as Newwel Gavu, was arrested on Saturday, August 31, and is currently in custody.
