Veteran Ghanaian Actress, Belinda Naa Ode Oku popularly known as Adwoa Smart, has revealed the reason why she dropped out of school.
Adjoa Smart disclosed that she stopped schooling because her classmates constantly teased her due to her diminutive nature.

She narrated how she was bullied by mates because of her smallish stature during her school going days on the Upside Down show on Accra-based Channel One TV.
“I stopped going to school because my mates were laughing at me because of my size. It got so bad that I lost interest in going to school so I dropped out,” the veteran actress said.
According to her, the teachers failed to do their part to stop the constant bullying.
“The teachers didn’t help me at all. They were supposed to protect me, but they didn’t,” she painfully stated.
The 53-year-old has been in a lot of drama episodes and films over the years.
She was very popular and a hotcake between 1980 and 2000, when Akan drama was at its peak and also appeared in multiple music videos.
Adwoa Smart rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s as a cast member of the Akan drama series “Obra” (Life), which aired on GTV.
