Criticise, but do not insult us: Hearts of Oak Coach Ouattara

Hearts of Oak secured their first victory of the season, defeating Bechem United 2-0, and coach Aboubakar Ouattara had a clear message for the fans.

“We’re working for [the supporters]. I understand when they criticise us. You can criticise us and say anything you like, but please do not insult [us],” Ouattara stated after the match.

The coach emphasized that Hearts of Oak is about more than just winning: “This club has a big project. The goal is to build a strong team, not just to win for the sake of it, but to conquer.”

He also called for unity: “What we need is to stay together, and if that happens, I think we can achieve a lot.”
