Speaking on behalf of the team, Jordan Ayew expressed their purpose for the visit: “On behalf of the Ghana Football Association, the Black Stars Technical team, and my colleagues, we are here to spend time with you and offer our support as part of our contribution to your growth,” he told ghanafa.org. “We believe that lending a helping hand is a divine act and a virtue we all need to cultivate to assist the underprivileged in society. We have made many donations and visits before matches, but today, we felt it was important to come here and support you.”
The Leicester City forward also sought the school’s prayers and support as the team prepared for their crucial match against Angola.
The visit was marked by a generous donation of food items, water, and an undisclosed sum of money, bringing joy and smiles to the students’ faces. This gesture highlights the Black Stars’ dedication to making a positive impact off the field and their ongoing efforts to give back to the community.
