This was revealed on Sunday, September 8, during a lively farewell party hosted by the Ghana Tourism Authority at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
They will travel from Accra to Paris, Dubai, and Cape Town, South Africa, as part of their amazing journey.
The team’s voyage will take them through a variety of landscapes, including the skyscrapers of Dubai, the Mauritanian deserts, and Cape Town, which is located at the southernmost point of Africa.
The team travelled 10,000 kilometres in 2023, passing through numerous African nations and other European nations on their way to London, United Kingdom.
The CEO of Wanderlust Ghana, Kwabena Peprah, stated that the trip is more than just an adventure, it is a mission to establish Ghana as a major worldwide player and to highlight its stunning natural surroundings.
“For us, this time around, it’s about making Ghana a tourist destination for most foreigners,” Peprah emphasised, speaking of the group’s ambition to showcase the country’s potential on the world stage.
He acknowledged that there is a serious risk to the timeliness of the trip due to automotive problems, but he expressed unflinching confidence when he joked, “We’re embracing the challenge and revelling in the journey.”
