Armee Patriotique Rwandaise FC has expressed interest in Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey, according to Kumasi-based Akoma FM.

Lamptey was a delight to watch in the recently concluded season, which earned him a call-up to the Black Stars. With his contract with Asante Kotoko now expired, he is looking to move on.
The former Inter Allies midfielder joined Asante Kotoko three seasons ago and quickly became a fan favorite.
In the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Lamptey played 17 games and provided three assists for the Porcupines.
