GARFA and Game Tv announce partnership to broadcast Division two matches

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has sealed an innovative partnership with Game TV to bring greater visibility to grassroots football in Ghana. Through this two-year agreement, Game TV will broadcast up to six Division Two matches per match day, significantly boosting the exposure of local talents.

Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, GARFA Chairman Mr. Samuel Aboabire highlighted the Association’s dedication to grassroots football. “GARFA has always been committed to nurturing and promoting grassroots football in Ghana. This partnership with Game TV marks a crucial milestone in our efforts, providing a platform to showcase the exceptional talent within our Division Two league,” he noted. “We are thankful to Game TV for aligning with our vision, and we are eager to see the positive outcomes this collaboration will bring.”

The new partnership is expected to enhance the visibility of Division Two clubs, improving their marketing reach and financial prospects. “This initiative presents a fantastic opportunity to elevate the status of our clubs and players, while contributing to the growth of Ghanaian football as a whole,” Mr. Aboabire added.

Game TV CEO Madam Bibi Bright shared her enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to join forces with GARFA to spotlight the incredible talents in the Division Two league. These players represent the future of Ghanaian football, and our broadcasts aim to bring their skills and stories to a larger audience. Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, Head of Public Relations and Strategy at the Ghana Football Association (GFA), also attended the launch event, conveying the GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku’s delight at this new venture. He remarked that the President’s “fixing the fundamentals” agenda, which prioritizes grassroots football development, is showing promising results. The interest from Game TV, a major corporate partner, underscores the effectiveness of this initiative. “We appreciate Game TV’s investment in Ghana football through this partnership with GARFA. We look forward to seeing more such collaborations across all our Regional Football Associations,” Armstrong-Mortagbe concluded.
