Ghana’s defensive midfielder, Ahmed Awua Ankrah has secured a three-year contract with Latvia’s top-tier club, FC Riga, moving from Slovenia’s FC Koper, where he had an impressive stint.
The 22-year-old joined FC Koper last season on a two-year deal after departing Italy’s Parma Calcio. During his one-year spell at FC Koper, Ankrah played 27 games, scored 1 goal, and provided 1 assist.

Commenting on his move to FC Riga, Ahmed Awua Ankrah expressed his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his career. “I’m incredibly happy to join such an amazing club. I hope to do my best to help FC Riga achieve great success,” he said.
