The La Wantu Playing Cards Club dominated the preliminary rounds to advance to the quarter-finals of the ongoing RAD Homowo Unity Playing Card Competition at La Manjaanor.
The club dominated the first three hours of the face-off against Peaceful Club, who tried to stage a late comeback but failed to.
At the end of intense five hours of battle, the Wantu Club won by 1,970 points against the 1,740 points accumulated by Peaceful Club.
The final matches of the preliminary rounds will take place this Sunday.

Mandela Club and Flying Eagles will go head to head for a quarter-final slot.
With Third World Club battling Advance Club to secure the last quarter-final spot.
Chairman of the RAD Group and sponsors of the tournament, Mr Raymond Addai-Danquah, applauded the players for their efforts and all the fans for the sportsmanship displayed so far in the competition.
