The woman who got stuck at the top of a pillar at the Circle Interchange in Accra told authorities she was abandoned by a man whom she climbed the pillar to spend the night with.
The man reportedly told her that he was going to come back and left her there.
Authorities said they found empty bags, pen drives and items that suggest someone usually sleeps or visits there.
On Thursday, the woman was found stuck between two high pillars beneath the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange.

She was then unable to find her way down, as onlookers tried to find ways to save her.
The numbers increased as time passed with many questioning how she managed to climb all the way up there in the first place.
It took the professional expertise of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to finally rescue her that same day.
And she is now receiving treatment at the hospital.
