Police detain four additional suspects in jirapa dubai hotel owner’s murder case

The police have intensified their efforts in the aftermath of the tragic incident at the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, often known as “Jirapa Dubai.” They have apprehended four additional suspects, all of whom were employed at the hotel and safari park. This recent development increases the total number of individuals detained to five, all of whom are currently aiding the investigation.

In a recent turn of events, the police have disclosed the identities of the suspects: Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey. These staff members of the Cosy Hill Hotel join Kumbata Kwaku, who was previously arrested, in police custody. A press statement released by the police on Sunday confirmed their commitment to ensuring that the responsible party or parties are brought to justice.

The case has drawn significant attention, leading the Inspector-General of Police to assign a specialized team, headed by the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department, to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command in conducting a comprehensive investigation. The hotel owner, Eric Johnson, was a noted entrepreneur who had built the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel to foster employment and tourism in the Upper West Region, contributing to the local economy. His untimely death, marked by the discovery of his body in a hotel room, has shocked the community.
