Patrick Amenuvor, the Ghanaian creative force, has prematurely ended his attempt to break the record for the longest-standing marathon. Barely four hours into his seven-day Guinness World Record attempt on January 14, he encountered unforeseen rule breaches that compelled him to stop.

While the exact nature of the infractions hasn’t been disclosed, Amenuvor is already planning a comeback. He’s taking time to regroup with his team to iron out any issues before his next attempt. He thanked his supporters and promised to keep them updated on his social media with plans for his next stand-a-thon challenge.
