The Ghana Highways Authority(GHA) has announced that there will be traffic interruptions on the Atomic Bridge (N4) as maintenance works are set to commence from tomorrow.
GHA said in a statement that the maintenance would to be carried out on the expansion joints on the road.

The maintenance would run for the next 20 days starting tomorrow, October 2, 2024, to Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 8:00pm to 6:00am daily.
“The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) , acting on behalf of the Ministry of Roads and Highways (MRH), wishes to inform the general public that scheduled maintenance will be carried out on expansion joints on the Atomic Bridge (N4) as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure Road safety and infrastructure integrity.
“As a result, there would be traffic interruptions,” part of the statement reads.
Motorists have therefore been advised by GHA to adhere to traffic regulations on the road.

This would worsen the already unbearable traffic jams in the capital, and motorists in the capital have to find alternative routes during the next 20 days.
