Where are the 1D1F projects located in Greater Accra?

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has disclosed that there are eight more one district, one factory (1D1F) projects in the Greater Accra Region alone.

Speaking at the Regional Townhall Meeting organised by the Information Ministry at GNAT Hall in Accra today, the minister said the projects include Narvina Cartel Garment Limited, Jopanya Mango Juice Factory, Mushroom Factory, Atlantic Life Sciences, and B5 Plus Limited.

The rest, he said, are EPAC Flexing Packing Factory, Golden Africa and Multipac Factories.

But the question in the minds of many in the capital is where exactly are these factories located? To answer this, MyAccraonline made some quick investigations and found the following:

Narvina Cartel Garment Limited is located at Tesano, Accra and is into the production of local fabrics and garments.

Jopanya Mango Juice Factory is a mango processing factory located inside the Shai Osudoku District.

Mushroom Factory at Amanfro, Adenta Municipality

Atlantic Life Sciences was commissioned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Friday April 22, 2022 at Larkpleku in Ningo Prampram as part of efforts to boost the local manufacture of serum and vaccines.

B5 Plus Limited announced that they have procured 642 acres of land under 1D1F which comprises of a SMS (Steel Melting Shop) a Rolling Mill with a production capacity of 250,000 MT per annum and a Pre- Fab manufacturing Plant with a production capacity of 60,000 MT per annum. The B5 Plus Alloys Company Limited is also located at Ningo Larpleku, Ningo Prampram District.

EPAC Flexing Packing Factory at Spintex, Krowor Municipality produces high quality standup pouches, lay flat pouches, rollstock and connected packaging solutions.

Golden Africa in the Tema Free Zones area is focused on the manufacturing of quality soaps and detergents in Ghana.

Multipac inside Tema Heavy Industrial Area produces beverages in the country.

According to government, some of the projects are already existing companies that were adopted into the 1D1F project, whiles some are projects started and completed fully by the government.
