Herbert Krapa, Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy, has announced that plans are well advanced for the collapsed Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) to resume its operations within the next three months. He shared this update in a Facebook post following a working visit to TOR and Sentuo Oil Refinery on Tuesday, 23 July 2024.
According to Krapa, a strategic partner is being sought to revive TOR, ensuring it resumes full operation and produces at maximum capacity. The minister added that the timeframe for the resumption was agreed upon by TOR management.
