Harry Stacey, a 23-year-old swimmer, is set to represent Ghana in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. After graduating from secondary school in 2016 and completing his A levels in 2018, Harry embarked on an international journey to hone his swimming skills, training in Scotland, Malta, England, and Ghana.
Throughout his career, Harry has gained valuable experience by living, training, and competing in five different countries. For the past two years, he has been based in Ghana, where he has taken on the challenge of self-coaching.

His dedication and hard work have paid off, as he is now the highest-ranked male swimmer in Ghana as of June 23, 2024, according to the World Aquatics Point Table (2024 edition). Harry secured his place in the Men’s 100 meters Freestyle at the Paris 2024 Olympics with an impressive entry time of 50.67 seconds, achieved at the Africa Aquatics Swimming Championships in Luanda, Angola.
In addition to his training, Harry has also contributed to the sport by working part-time as an assistant swim coach and later as an Associate Head Coach. His journey is a testament to his perseverance and passion for swimming, and he is poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming Olympics.
