The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has called on citizens and local government officials to maintain the recently opened Flower Pot Interchange properly in order to maintain both its usefulness and beauty.
During the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, Titus-Glover emphasized the significance of keeping the area surrounding the interchange clean and orderly.
He issued a special warning against the growth of kiosks and containers, stating that they could compromise the infrastructure’s efficiency and aesthetic attractiveness.

“We also share the responsibility to maintain and use these resources wisely. In this light, I would like to urge the municipal assemblies, particularly Ledzorkuku, and Ayawaso West Wuogon, under whose jurisdiction this interchange falls, to ensure that this area is kept clean.
“Additionally, I don’t want to see kiosks, and containers littered around. It will destroy the beauty that we are witnessing and commissioning today,” he said.
In order to improve communication and lessen traffic in the Greater Accra Region, the Flower Pot Interchange is a significant infrastructure milestone.
