With limited opportunities and unavailable jobs in the country, many youth in the capital have been forced to find alternative ways to make ends meet.
Many are still unemployed years after graduating from the university.
To combat the rising unemployment in the capital and lack of job opportunities, one of Ghana’s biggest recruitment agencies, Jobberman Ghana is set to host a two-day forum in Accra this month.

Jobberman Ghana will host a Career Fair and Employer Forum on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 and Thursday, August 29, 2024,.
The event will be held at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) Auditorium in Accra, on both days from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This year’s event is on the theme: “Beyond the Fields: Exploring Agribusiness and Job Opportunities for Young People.”
The goal of the exhibition and forum is to close the gap that exists between the young of Ghana and the expanding prospects in agriculture.
The event’s highlights will include skill-building seminars, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
The initiative, according to a statement released by Jobberman Ghana, aligns with its “Discover the New Agric” initiative under the Harnessing Agriculture Productivity and Prosperity for Youth programme.
“This program seeks to unlock agribusiness employment opportunities for young Ghanaian men and women,” the statement added.
